Long-term care
Long-term care you get back if you never use it
Old long-term care policies took a premium every year and gave nothing back if you never claimed. Newer designs return the money as a death benefit or as your premium back. Some are paid once and done.

- I am 78. Is it too late?
- Some products accept applicants into their early eighties. The choices narrow with each year, so it is worth checking sooner.
- Do I really get it back if I never use it?
- It depends on the design. Some return it as a death benefit, some as a refund of premium. The contract spells out which.
- How is this different from Medi-Cal?
- Medi-Cal requires you to meet asset limits and narrows the kind of care available. Private coverage exists to protect your assets and widen the choice.
One question is enough to start
A consultation does not oblige you to buy anything. Putting your situation in order is my job.

We talk it through
Not a product pitch. I start with where you stand and what you want to know. Office visit or phone, whichever is easier.

You decide in your own time
I show you the carriers side by side. Talking it over with your family first is never too late.
